Terms of Service
Effective September 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of Lany Business, a Business English learning application operated by LangCo and developed with NeosIA support. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account and password. Access to learning features requires ownership of the registered email address to be verified.
2. Free and premium access
Free accounts receive up to 30 Conversation Practice exchanges during each rolling seven-day period. Curriculum practice has a separate daily allowance: two practices without ads and up to three additional practices after one rewarded advertisement per practice, for a maximum of five curriculum practices per day. Unused allowances do not carry forward.
Premium access provides unlimited conversation practice, unlimited curriculum practice and no advertising. Enterprise access requires a valid code provided by an authorized organization.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google and managed with RevenueCat. Prices, billing periods and any trial are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the applicable store settings within the period required by that store. Restoring a purchase does not create an additional charge. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by the applicable store.
4. Rewarded advertising
Watching a rewarded advertisement is optional and applies only to additional curriculum practices. Rewards are granted only after the advertising provider confirms completion. Ad availability is not guaranteed.
5. AI and learning content
Lany Business uses artificial intelligence for conversations, corrections, recommendations, transcription and speech. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and is provided for education, not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. User messages and AI responses may be checked by automated content filters. You can report an AI response from the conversation screen; LangCo reviews reports and may suspend accounts that use the service abusively. You remain responsible for how you use the service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with limits or purchases, upload unlawful or harmful content, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use automated methods that burden the service. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform.
7. Intellectual property
Lany Business, its curriculum, branding, interface and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep Lany available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change as the learning system improves. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Account termination and deletion
You may stop using Lany at any time and can permanently delete your account from Settings. Deleting the Lany account does not by itself cancel an Apple or Google subscription; cancellation must be completed in the applicable store. We may suspend accounts that materially violate these terms.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app, email or this page. Questions may be sent to lany@langco.com.mx.
